Home Energy Solutions
Home Energy Solutions is an energy-efficiency improvement program available to most Connecticut residents through Energize CT.
For a copay of just $40, you may receive:
- Comprehensive home energy audit
- Blower door test
- Air sealing to stop drafts
- Duct sealing (if you have forced-air HVAC)
- Hot water pipe wrap, faucet aerators, and high-efficiency showerheads (if needed)
- Insulation inspection
- Health and safety checks
- Energy-saving tips tailored to your home
- Access to rebates and financing for insulation, new windows, heat pumps, and more.
Most homeowners receive around $1,000 in services and save $75-100 on their annual energy costs.
Who Qualifies for Home Energy Solutions?
All residential customers of Eversource, UI, CNG, and SCG are eligible for Home Energy Solutions as long as you haven’t received program services in the past 6 years.

Through the Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible program, qualifying households can receive everything the Home Energy Solutions program offers at no cost. You may also qualify for additional incentives for energy-saving home improvements, including up to 100% off insulation upgrades and no-cost heat pumps.
Who Qualifies for Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible?
Residential customers of Eversource, UI, CNG, and SCG with a combined household income below 60% of the area median income are eligible for the Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible program.
